Cold Watch: Temperature control unit

We have been using this system for the last nine months in our hot room, with great success. It adds value by monitoring temperature in the hot room to stay within set parameters, with alerts sent to notify when the temp drops below or goes above certain limits. For the last nine months we’ve had no problems, except for the one time the power supply was interrupted to the unit, but the problem was addressed by Cold Watch technicians in a very timely and professional manner.

We at ANCA FOODS pride ourselves in currently having the Cold Watch monitoring system installed and linked to two of our distribution centres, namely Port Elizabeth and George. A third monitoring system will be implemented shortly at our depot in Bloemfontein. The Cold Watch management team have given us and our third-party Control Room who monitor the refrigerated cold rooms full support providing us peace of mind that our cold rooms are fully operational 24/7/365. Our cold chain integrity is of utmost importance enabling us to deliver the best product to our customers. We therefore required a well-structured but simplified temperature monitoring system to assist in this delicate task. One Monitoring unit with various extremely sensitive temperature sensors that shows graphs on a dashboard or App on my phone was just the solution. Just a quick note to give you an updated on the Cold Watch system you installed on our vaccine and medication fridge here in Ladismith. It was quite an eye opener to see the performance of a domestic fridge. Your unit showed us that the fridge cycles between 1.7 and 7.5degrees in a 4 hour period. The ability to track temperature in real time with an indication of where the current temperature lies within the expected range is quite useful and a significant step-up in terms of technology and our old system of manual checking an charting!. The software is easy to use and we are able to print out graph etc.During the prolonged electricity black-out we had in Ladismith, the unit alerted us by e-mail notifications and an audible sound alarm on my mobile phone, and you yourself called to enquire what the problem was-this is excellent service and beyond your call of duty.All in all we are 100% Satisfied, the unit works well, the software and cell phone interfaces are simple and effective and the customer service is up there with the very best! I can wholeheartedly recommend you and your company!
